Barodontalgia is a dental condition characterized by tooth pain caused by atmospheric pressure changes during flight activities. The aim of this study was to analyze the prevalence, clinical characteristics, and associated factors of barodontalgia in active pilots of the Paraguayan Air Force during the year 2025. A mixed-method, descriptive, and correlational study was conducted with a sample of 70 military pilots from Ñu Guazú Air Base. Data collection was carried out through structured surveys, interviews, and documentary analysis. The results showed that a significant percentage of pilots experienced episodes of dental pain associated with pressure changes during flight, mainly during the descent phase. The main associated factors identified were previous dental conditions, restorative dental treatments, and frequent exposure to barometric variations. It is concluded that barodontalgia represents a relevant condition within military aerospace medicine; therefore, it is necessary to strengthen prevention programs and dental monitoring for flight personnel.
